Payday!!

Hi guys,

This will be a very brief post so I will get straight to the point.

It’s Finally payday! My final pay before Christmas and I know I must use this wage to spoil the boyf and family over the holidays but I am determined to treat myself too. I’m going to buy myself some new books and this is where you come in.
I would love some recommendations. Whether they’re new or old, I want to know what your favourite and current reads are. What do you think should I read before Christmas?

I’m opening it up to you! Comment on this post, message me on twitter or even ask for my email and send me a huge list. I don’t mind. It would be great to have the input of others.

Lucy xx

(P.S HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I’ll be thinking of all of you over in the US as you stuff  yourselves full of turkey and pie. Sending all my love!)

I love the outlander series!! Well I love what I’ve read of it so far. I started watching the show before reading the books and I’m stuck in an awful position wondering should I continue reading or wait for the next series to air first?

Oh, that’s quite a dilemma. I guess it comes down to how you want to find out what happens next. The series is extremely well done (I really need to get the season two DVD or BD, so I can finally see it!) and does a great job of telling the story. The books are more detailed, which lets you know all the things the series had to leave out due to time constraints, etc… but it will spoil the show for you. Tough decision to make!
